YMCA Traditional Day Camp

Summer Day Camp

See you all next summer!

The Y's Summer Day Camp is one of the oldest and most trusted camping programs in the country. Our day camps provide fun, child-centered activities and opportunities for learning through discovery, and challenge children to grow in imagination, creativity, self-directed initiative and leadership.

Summer Day Camps offer enriching activities based on the weekly theme where friends are made through group games, sports & fitness, hands-on science activities, arts & crafts, and music!

Camper Groups

We divide campers up by age in groups of 12-15. Campers will have a consistent group with the same counselor when possible throughout the summer to provide deep connections and relationships with their fellow campers and their counselors.

Staff

Our counselors attend 35 hours of on-site training as well as all trainings required by child care licensing and the YMCA. Our camp directors are our full time site directors who run B&A programs throughout the school year. Many of them have over 5 years of experience working with kids.

Meals

We provide an afternoon snack (and a morning snack if needed) everyday. Parents must provide a lunch and a refillable water bottle each day. Packing extra snacks is encouraged.
