As a non-profit dedicated to strengthening the community, the Y has a need to raise charitable funds. These funds ensure that all community members have access to the Y and advance programs that address community needs in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Your race entry helps continue to support Colorado Springs' kids, adults and families to benefit from our programs. In 2017, we distributed $1.5 million in financial assistance to those experiencing hardships and those needing access to the Y's services and programs.
USA Triathlon has developed an indoor triathlon program called USATri60 to introduce individuals to the sport of triathlon at a grassroots level. This is your chance to be exposed to the sport of triathlon in a one hour, non-threatening setting and with a built-in support system that drives the concept that 'anyone can be a triathlete'!
The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and The Sports Corp are partnering to offer this event as a part of the 2019 Rocky Mountain State Games!
