Per the latest executive order of Governor Polis, effective Friday, July 17, 2020, all individuals are required to wear a medical or non-medical face-covering (mask) while in a facility to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Members may remove their mask temporarily if the mask interferes with their ability to safely perform an activity, but members must always have a mask immediately available and wear it as much as possible. Masks must be worn while entering and moving around all indoor YMCA-operated facilities.

The only exemptions to this order are:
Individuals ten (10) years old and younger; or
Individuals who cannot medically tolerate a face covering.

The YMCA will be unable to supply masks to members, so please bring your own.
We appreciate your cooperation!

Please visit ppymca.org/welcomeback
to learn more about our updated safety procedures, what amenities will be available
and what steps you should take before you visit your local YMCA.

Renovations include...

  • A newly renovated 45,900 square foot YMCA connecting the east side community through social interaction, healthy living and fun recreational activities.
  • Intentional spaces such as multi-purpose and group exercise rooms giving this community a space to connect, make friends and develop support systems.
  • A multi-purpose sports court allowing for youth, teens and adults to physically, mentally and socially exercise.
  • A Healthy Living Center bringing together all generations, diversity and economic backgrounds to help support and strengthen this community.

This area of town along the Powers corridor is home to more than 90,000 households and is growing at about twice the national average.

Despite this growth, there are very few options for youth, families and seniors to engage in community and recreational activity.

We will partner with local organizations to create a place that focuses on recreation, social connection, health and education. A new Y will ensure all people on the east side will have access to the range of programs and services that build character, support education, improve health outcomes and strengthen a community.
