To ensure a safe facility with safe programs for our members, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region has created and will uphold the following guidelines for the Healthy Living Center.
- Appropriate workout attire must be worn. Please see general policies for more information.
- Wipe down all machines, benches, and equipment with the provided solution and towel when you are finished using them.
- Allow others to rotate in while using weight machines, especially during busy times.
- All weights and training accessories should be returned to the provided racks.
- Please limit time to 30 minutes on cardio equipment when others are waiting.
- Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times.
- Profanity and abusive language is not permitted.
- Please see a healthy living floor attendant or the front desk for an orientation if unfamiliar with any equipment.
- Only water bottles are permitted in the Healthy Living Center. No other food is permitted in the Healthy Living Center.
- Elevation training masks are not allowed to be used in YMCA facilities.
- Only YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region certified staff are allowed to utilize YMCA facilities and equipment for individual or group personal training and/or coaching services.
Due to safety concerns, children under 6 years of age are not able to use the Healthy Living Center.
If you have completed youth orientation and have Red Band (Youth 7-10), you may:
- Use any machine or equipment that has a red sticker.
- Use Cardio Equipment under the supervision of a member 16 years or older.
- Attend group exercise classes (without weights) under the supervision of a member 16 years or older.
- Take a cycling class under the supervision of a member 16 years or older and meet the height requirements.
