The Vision of the Capital Campaign

Our vision is simple - to strengthen our community.

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is positioned to help improve the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of residents young and old, but we need purposefully designed spaces to continue to carry out our mission. We also know that we can't do it alone and we need partners in our vision.

That's why we have launched a $30 million capital development program to ensure we can help even more people on their journey for a better life.

Downtown YMCA project

For 140 years the Downtown Y has been a leader in the Pikes Peak Region in shaping and developing a growing community. In the 1900s the Y envisioned more by offering night school to working youth, low-cost residence rooms for those in need and positive activities from photography to sports for all. Today, the Downtown Y is no different, as we continue to collaborate with partners to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
