Member Referral Program

Any YMCA member who has been active for 30 days can refer a new member!

Current members can refer anyone who has not been a member of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region for at least 90 days prior to applying to the referral program.

By referring a new member, current members will receive free Y gear of their choice.

Refer a friend to join the Y! When they join, within their first 30 days, fill out the Member Referral Form. Someone from our business office will reach out to you (after the person you referred has been with the Y for 30 days) via email within 30-60 days after the first month of submitting the referral. The email will let you know that your YMCA gear is ready to be picked up and also confirm the YMCA location you choose to pick up your gear.

Yes! You will get to pick your YMCA gear for each member you refer.

You can refer a member to any YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region membership center. 

Your referral for a couple or family membership unit will count as 1 referral and not multiple referrals.

Nope, sorry! At least one person must be a current YMCA member before they can refer a new member.

No, sorry! The YMCA gear is only available to current members who refer a new member to the Y after the referral program began (May 2023).

No, you can only receive those items if you refer another member.

Any traditional YMCA facility membership type that pays the YMCA directly through an automatic bank draft will qualify for you to get a referral. You will not get Y gear for corporate memberships subsidized by employers or paid for via payroll deduction, insurance-based memberships (such as SilverSneakers Fitness Program, Silver&Fit, Renew Active and Healthways Prime) or another third party that pays Y membership dues on an individual’s behalf.
