Summer Day Camp

2019_Best_Of_the_Springs_Gazette-Summer-Day-Camp

Summer Day Camps offer enriching weekly camp theme activities where friends are made through group games, sports & fitness, hands-on science activities, arts & crafts, and music!

The Y's Summer Day Camp is one of the oldest and most trusted camping programs in the country. Our day camps provide fun, child-centered activities and opportunities for learning through discovery, and challenge children to grow in imagination, creativity, self-directed initiative and leadership. Register at your preferred location via the links below!

Here is what we are doing to protect your family during COVID-19:

  • Staff are required to wear cloth masks per CDC guidelines and children are recommended to wear masks while at camp. We have few masks on hand but do ask that you provide a mask for your camper if possible.
  • More frequent and thorough cleaning/disinfecting inside and outside of program hours.
  • Outdoor wellness checks for all children at sign-in that includes a parent to sign off on symptoms within the last 48 hours.
  • Sign-in and sign-out will be done outside the building, and by a staff member to reduce the amount of people in the building and touching the sign-in tablet.
  • Heightened alert for symptoms and a more stringent sick policy to avoid having sick children, or children with potential contagious symptoms in the program.
  • Smaller group sizes spread out in more program areas to reduce proximity with others.
  • Increased frequency of hand-washing for staff and children throughout the day
  • Water Bottle Fountains are the only ones available. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle.
