RAD PROGRAM

Real Alternatives to Drugs and Drinking
What is RAD?

Real Alternatives to Drugs and Drinking is all about giving high school students a safe, fun, and drug- and alcohol-free place to hang out on Friday nights.

RAD events are put on by students, for students and offer an exciting alternative to parties—so teens can socialize, stay active, and have fun without the pressure.

RAD was founded by Palmer Ridge High School student Brandon Pappas to help change the culture of drugs and drinking that exists in many high schools across the country. Today, RAD continues to grow and make a positive impact right here in our community.

Current RAD Chapters:
  • Palmer Ridge High School
  • Lewis-Palmer High School
  • Monument Academy High School
