Personal Trainer // Rebecca Freeland

Areas I Specialize In
I specialize in individualizing each plan to fit the client’s needs and by helping them to find their niche in their new fit and healthy lifestyle. I make sure to educate my clients about the ‘why’ behind each exercise we do and emphasize the importance of proper form, proper nutrition, hydration, and adequate rest, along with the reasoning behind each component. I want to give them as many tools as possible so they can be successful.
Degrees and Certifications
AFFA certified Personal Trainer; licensed CNA; Certified in the following programs: Strong Women; X-bike; Training the Pregnant Athlete; Group Exercise; Yoga and Pilates on the Ball; NutritionFundamentals and Nutrient Timing; Youth Sports and Fitness; Nutrition and Post Exercise Recovery; Nutrition for the Youth Athlete.
Interests and Achievements
I love all things fitness! From lifting weights at the gym, to participating in Color runs andMud Runs with friends, to setting up mini ‘American Ninja Warrior’ courses in the backyard with my kids. I was born and raised in California where I surfed, paddle boarded, kayaked, water skied, played beach volleyball and numerous other sports, on and off the water. I have always been active but I discovered just how important it is to be physically/mentally fit, after giving birth to my daughter with special needs. I need to be strong, mentally and physically in order to care for her day to day. Since moving to Colorado, I have participated in numerous fun runs, such as Big Dog Brag and obstacle runs, such as the Spartan Race; hiked Pikes Peak; paddle boarded; discovered a love/hate relationship with the Incline; and I competed in my first figure competition...next up, Skydiving!
My Training Philosophy
I believe that being fit and healthy is all about Balance. There are many components that factor into living a healthy lifestyle; strength training, cardiovascular training, balance and flexibility, sleep/rest, proper nutrition, mental stimulation, and spiritual well-being all play equally important roles in our daily health. Find an activity you love, whether it be hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, riding bikes with your kids, meeting friends for yoga in the park, taking a class at the gym, etc. and you will find that is easy to maintain balance.
