The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s youth sport program TrueSport, and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, is excited to present the Olympic City USA Camp. This week-long camp gives local youth the chance to experience the Olympic spirit, engage with Team USA athletes, and explore the incredible sports community right here in Olympic City USA.

This unique camp experience is designed to inspire pride in living in Olympic City USA. Campers will not only get an inside look at the training facilities that support our world-class athletes, but they’ll also have the chance to engage with Team USA athletes, learn the core values of the Olympic and Paralympic movements, and experience hands-on activities that will motivate them to achieve greatness. Through the integration of TrueSport programming, campers will practice essential life skills learned through sport such as perseverance, decision-making, and goal setting.

• Monday: Visit the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, light the Olympic cauldron, and tour the facility
  
  
• Tuesday: Ride bikes at the Velodrome and learn about cycling from USA Cycling
  
  
• Wednesday: Tour the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum and discover the legacy of Team USA athletes
  
  
• Thursday: Watch the USA Weightlifting National Championships and meet a Team USA athlete
  
  
• Friday: Meet a Team USA athlete at the YMCA for a day of sports activities
