Areas I Specialize In
I thrive on complex cases with clientele who have complications, conditions, or other
barriers that may prevent them exercising the way that they want to. I enjoy digging
into the details and the technical aspects of biomechanics to get them over these
hurdles in pursuit of their unique goals. This is usually accomplished with a focus on
balance, stability, strength and mobility exercises.
Degrees and Certifications
Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Eleiko Olympic Lifting Certification, Certificate of Achievement in Personal Training (Diablo Valley College), CPR/AED/First Aid and 02, American Health and Safety Institute (ASHI)
Interests and Achievements
• I enjoy hiking with my dog, snowboarding whenever I possibly can, fitness boxing and I
have a growing interest in pickleball.
• As a former collegiate athlete I look for opportunities to stay active, whether it’s a pick
up game of basketball, ping pong, or just a game of cornhole in the backyard.
• I am a massive football fan on both the collegiate and professional level and I love
taking trips up to Green Bay to watch my favorite team play.
• I also enjoy music (live especially), reading, going to the movies and occasionally falling
down some obscure educational rabbit hole on the internet.
My Training Philosophy
My approach to training starts with the ability to listen and adapt to their unique
demands, as I guide them towards building a skillset that they can use for the rest
of their lives. I strive to find the sweet spot where fun and enjoyment intersects with
effective exercise, which facilitates adherence to a routine. I am a stickler for the details
when it comes to form so that we begin reinforcing good habits and breaking bad ones
as soon as possible. I work hard to keep my training varied and ever changing as I
collaborate with my clients to both identify and achieve their fitness goals.
