Ever wonder what impact at the YMCA really looks like? Join us for our YMCA Impact Tours, an immersive experience designed to showcase how your support powers transformational programs and services across the Pikes Peak Region.
Held every other month, each tour offers a unique opportunity to witness a program in action, meet Y staff and participants, and hear firsthand stories of strength, resilience, and community connection.

The YMCA is proud to offer Adaptive Swimming Lessons to ensure swimmers of all abilities can learn water safety skills and enjoy the pool in a supportive environment. These one-on-one lessons are designed for swimmers with autism, sensory sensitivities, physical disabilities, and other unique needs.
During this Impact Tour, guests will observe adaptive instruction in action and learn how YMCA instructors tailor each lesson to meet individual goals. Instructors communicate closely with families to ensure each swimmer is supported and progressing at their own pace.

Step into the spirit of the Turkey Trot, a beloved holiday tradition that brings more than 4,000 participants together each year. This tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at packet pick-up, where community camaraderie meets mission impact. Discover how this annual 5K helps ensure access to the YMCA for neighbors in need across the Pikes Peak Region.

Step into the world of Middle School Initiative, a no-cost, high-impact program supporting local tweens as they navigate one of life’s most formative stages. This tour offers a firsthand look at how the Y fosters belonging, leadership, and wellness through intentional after-school programming.

Our first tour spotlights NeuroPong, an evidence-based program supporting those living with Parkinson’s disease. Learn how something as simple as table tennis can improve balance, cognition, and social engagement — and how your support makes it possible.
