FAQ

Find answers to common questions about donating to the Y, tax letters, the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, and more. This page is designed to make it easy for you to get the information you need quickly, with helpful links and contact details for our Development team.

Q: How do I get a tax receipt or tax letter for my donation?

A: Tax receipts are automatically emailed after each donation. Tax letters are sent out at the end of each year. If you need a copy of your letter or have not received one, please contact our Mission Advancement office at missionadvancement@ppymca.org

Q: What is the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC)?

A: This state program allows donors to claim a significant income tax credit, up to 50%, for qualifying contributions.

Q: How can I claim the Colorado Childcare Tax Credit?

A: DR1317 form will be mailed to qualifying donations of $250 or more by January 15th.

Q: What are the different ways I can give to the Y?

A: We offer many giving options, including one-time gifts, recurring donations, planned giving, matching gifts, and more. Visit our Ways to Give page to explore your options.

Q: Can I designate my gift to a specific Y location or program?

A: Yes! Each Y branch runs its own Annual Support Campaign, allowing you to direct your gift to the community you care about most.
