NANCY
My Training Philosophy
I worked in many areas of healthcare over my 34 year career as a Physical Therapist including
skilled nursing, home health, in-patient care at a Level 1 Trauma Center, and mostly, outpatient
clinics. I, also, accidentally drove my car off a 40’ cliff in 1982 resulting in multiple surgeries to fuse
the entire lower 1/2 of my spine. Combining lessons I learned from my own traumatic injury with
what I was seeing and hearing from my patients led me to develop a gentle movement technique
that helped most of my patients either overcome or better manage their pain. I am passionate
about sharing what I have learned to help others more fully recover from lingering pain following an
injury or traumatic event. Simplifying the recovery process for those who have not responded well
to therapy in the past is what I aim to do for others in their pursuit of a more fulfilling and pain-free
lifestyle.
