Music Empowerment Camp

Ages 7 - 17, one week

Join The Boredomfighters Foundation in The Instrument Garden for a week of musical discovery at Camp Shady Brook!

Campers are taken on a carefully curated journey of creating their own music fusing traditional instruments and modern music technology with professionals, while curating a musical celebration at the end of the week they are sure to remember forever. Campers will still gain opportunities to participate in their favorite traditional camp programs and can expect to learn the basics of:

The education staff consists of industry professionals, worldwide touring artists, schoolteachers, and counselors with years of experience.

Advanced Music Production Camp

Ages 7 - 17, one week

The camp for young musicians and music producers who want to take their music to the next level!
Diving deep into their craft as a music maker with a team of professional music producers, vocalists, and instrumentalists providing:

• group music production exercises
• professional studio tracking time
• collaborative music making with national touring acts
• personalized instruction for each camper
• feedback on current music projects
• consultation with a music industry expert

Is this camp right for my child?

This program is designed for young people who are currently producing music on a digital program such as Ableton, Fruity Loops, Soundtrap, etc. Instructors are Ableton Certified with degrees in Music Production.
