"This really is a superb camp. (My daughter) is confident, healthy, and excited when she comes home. She tells everyone she meets that she doesn’t get ‘home-sick at camp’ she gets ‘camp-sick at home!"

"Thank you for being such awesome hosts for the RMCA 4th graders, we all had a blast. Once again, your staff went above and beyond. The children were engaged, challenged and all had lots of fun stories to tell back at school. Thanks for everything, and I am looking forward to doing all again next year."

"Thank you very much for working so hard to get me into Camp Shady Brook.

The thing I loved most about camp was during open rec when I got my blue band and took my yellow band friends out on a boat ride.

On my first full day, I climbed up the climbing wall six times. Four times I got to the top. Those same four times, I had a blindfold on.

On my last full day, I had H2O adventures, and I went out in a boat, and one of the other kid’s boats sank so the kid I was with and I helped to take the kids back to the dock. Then I went out in a funyack by myself and there were two daddy longlegs on it and because of them my funyack flipped upside down. I swam up to the dock then had to go back and get it.

My counselors, Jill, Kate, and Nick were great too. They all were very nice.

The only part of camp I didn’t like was siesta, but my mom and dad say it was probably good for me.

I will love and cherish these camp memories forever."

"Words cannot even begin to express our thanks to you and the camp counselors. My child had an amazing time at camp this summer and while most kids are happy to see their parents on pick up day, mine was quite upset coming home last night (he even made me cry!). The counselors made such a positive impact on him that he saw them all as friends (big brother/sister type) and when he found out that a lot of them wouldn't be returning to camp next year, he was heartbroken.

I asked my son what the best part of camp was and I think his answer was half an hour long! From the water rafting to the horseback riding, s’mores, the mattress slip and slide and navigator and pioneer week, the list went on and on."

"The facilities were perfect! The cabins were just the right amount of rustic. The new dining hall was absolutely gorgeous!

Loved the new dining hall and all the improvements we saw from the previous year!! Great to see that you're growing.

I think the facilities are great. Just "rough" enough to feel like camp, but not too "rustic.""
