Now that the Senior Center is unavailable, where can I go for classes and events?

Westside Community Center

1628 W Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 Hughes Hall (Silver Sneakers and Zumba)

1616 W Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 Cottages (Art Classes, Exercise classes, groups/clubs, and more)

Southeast Armed Services YMCA

Do I need to be a YMCA member?

No! All you need is your white patron card and membership to the Senior Center is always free. If you do not have your free membership card, please see Senior Center staff at the front desk. Please note that patrons only have access to Senior Center Programming. If you would like to use facilities to exercise or swim, please see the section below on our new $5 day passes!

If you have SilverSneakers or Renew Active as part of your Medicare insurance, you should have a blue card and access to all the Pikes Peak area YMCA’s. SilverSneakers and Renew Active members also get 15% off of all programming (day trips excluded). If you are unsure if you have this benefit, please see staff and we are happy to check for you!

If you are a member of the YMCA and are 55+, but do not have SilverSneakers or Renew Active, you are still eligible to participate in all programming. If a program has a fee you are responsible for paying at the time of registration.

Every location will have a check-in area for the Senior Center with a large banner that looks exactly like the picture to the right. PLEASE scan your white or blue membership card each time you visit and participate in a Senior Center program.
