Teen Strength Training

Cottonwood Creek YMCA

This program will teach teens how to safely and effectively use the equipment in the Wellness Center. During this course, they will be educated on strength training, cardio, resistance machines, free weights, lifting techniques and posture, warm-up and cool-down, hydration and nutrition, all while getting a great workout.

Overall, participants will learn how to work out in a way that allows them to increase strength while decreasing their chances of injury and lay the building blocks of a healthier lifestyle.

Ages: 12 - 15

Dates: February 6 - March 1

Days: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 5 - 6 p.m.

Cost: $130 per participant
