Personal Trainer
Downtown YMCA

I graduated from The National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Raleigh, NC in 2010, and went on to get my Personal Training Certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2011. I continued my education to receive my Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification in 2016. Corrective Exercise Techniques are used to diagnose and correct movement impairment syndromes to prevent injuries. I Have Recently Received my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification to assist my clients with creating healthy eating habits for a lifetime.

I’ve always been athletic, I learned how to manipulate my body composition in High school to be more competitive on the boys wrestling team. It was then, that I felt called to share my knowledge with people who wanted to learn these techniques. My career in the fitness industry was inspired by my desire for physical transformation and pain relief for myself after my children were born. I have trained many clients with many different goals from weight loss, (I’ve helped 3 clients lose 50 lbs apiece) to improving drop foot after a stroke, to helping a man who was paralyzed from the waist down after an aneurysm improve his golf swing.

Fitness isn’t one size fits all and we are all at different places in our journey. If you’re ready to start feeling better and get off that plateau that is keeping you from reaching your goals, then schedule a Demo with me today. Let me create a program for you to restore your body back to full optimal function and physical fitness.
