Jordan Ciambrone

Jordan Ciambrone, Senior Director of Corporate Relations

Jordan, Senior Director of Corporate Relations, brings a unique background to the Pikes Peak YMCA Corporate Health and Wellness team. Her career in corporate fitness and wellness afforded Jordan the opportunity to train, coach and manage many organizations throughout New York City. Her passion for education and experience as an adjunct teacher equipped her with strong facilitation skills to meet a diverse demographic of adult learners. She brings 12 years of management experience, 16 years of teaching and group facilitation, and 10 years of individual training and private coaching to the team. She holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State and a M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Arizona State University. Her credentials and certifications also include: Precision Nutrition Coaching, EXOS Performance Specialist, USA Weightlifting and Sports Performance Coach, IM=X Pilates, Kettlebell, Concepts Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), National Strength and Conditioning - Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), TRX: Suspension Training, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Wellcoaches, 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher, Restorative Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Medicine, and Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy.


Bethany_Kelsey

Bethany Kelsey, Director of Health Promotion

Bethany serves as the Director of Health Promotion with the Pikes Peak YMCA Corporate Health and Wellness team. Her unique exercise and wellness background encompasses corporate health promotion, clinical research, concierge medicine, military nonprofit work, and personal training.  Her diverse professional experiences strongly fed her existing passions for positively impacting lives and building purposeful relationships. Bethany holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Northwestern (St. Paul, MN) and an M.S. in Health Promotion from the University of Connecticut (Storrs, CT). Her certifications include: American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, ACE Personal Trainer, ACE Health Coach and Level 1 Precision Nutrition.


Shannon Lee Nickerson

Shannon Lee Nickerson, Lifestyle and Well-being Coach

Shannon Lee is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and certified Stress Management Technician through Integrity Biofeedback. Shannon works with the concept of Bio-individuality and provides her clients with the tools to make healthy, nourishing lifestyle choices. She helps men and women learn how to identify what fuels them, and which choices may lead to inflammation, stress, and possibly dis-ease. Her clients consistently share they lose excess weight, understand their unique bodies, have more love for themselves, and have more energy for their lives and loved ones.  Shannon Lee is a mountain lover, wellness advocate, and teaches group fitness at the YMCA.


Danny Tryon

Danny Tryon, Wellness Specialist and Personal Trainer 

Danny is a wellness specialist and personal trainer for the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region. He is an ACSM certified personal trainer and holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Danny’s training philosophy is exercise needs to be engaging and enjoyable, rather than a chore. There is no single perfect exercise program. Each program needs to be tailored to an individual’s interests, needs, and goals. He believes in developing skills so fitness can be a lifelong achievement. Therefore, he focuses on fundamental techniques and provides variations that can be adapted to suit individual goals and interests.
