This link will connect you to the class at the date and time it is being offered. In order to join the zoom class you will need a computer, tablet, or laptop with a microphone and camera. Better Balance & Happy Feet

Date: Mondays, June 29, July 6, 13 & 20 from 2-3 p.m.

Class Session: 4 weeks, 1 hour each session - $25

Join in on this online fitness class and stay in shape during the Coronavirus. Connecting live over the internet on your Tablet or laptop, we will Zoom our way through this hour long class with our fun instructor, Branden Wehmeier. During this class, we will explore exercises that improve and promote better balance while taking care of our sore tired feet. This class is posture focused and standing intensive. Branden will incorporate a total body workout including toning and stretching. A chair may be needed for balance assistance.

Painting with Gouache the Opaque Water Media

Date: Tuesdays, July 14, 21, 28 & Aug 4 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Class Session: 4 week,1 hour per session - $33

This inspiring class provides everything you need to know about Gouache Painting. Often described as a mix between watercolor and acrylic painting, gouache paint is great for creating beautiful illustrations. Learn basic painting and paint-mixing techniques, while creating a gorgeous work of (your own) art! Pronounced “gwash” (like squash), this style of painting is great for creating vibrant, colorful paintings and it’s perfect for Beginners.

Art Lessons Include:

  • Understanding Gouache Paint
  • Basic Paint Mixing Techniques
  • Tracing Paper Transfer Techniques— Learn to paint anything from a photograph (p.s. You don’t even have to know how to draw!)
  • Abstract Gouache Painting
  • Learn to Paint by painting landscapes!

Materials required for our Gouache Painting class.

  • Set of 12 Gouache Artists Paints or a Set of 12 Gouache Designers Paints but- NOT “Acrylic Gouache!
    If you already own watercolor paints then all that you need is one tube of white and one tube of black Artists or Designer Gouache paint.
  • Paint Palette
  • Flat Paintbrush 1/2 inch-3/4 inch
  • Small/Medium Round Paintbrush
  • Pencil

The Summer flowers are in bloom so let's paint them! This class will continue to develop skills to render the beauty and variety of the flower and the plant. Please have a sketchbook and pencil at the first class.
