Project Angel Heart — Cereal drive

YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region wants to make a difference in the lives of neighbors living with serious illnesses like cancer, kidney disease and HIV/AIDS.

That's why we're collecting cereal boxes to benefit Project Angel Heart, a local nonprofit that delivers freshly prepared meals to Coloradans living with life-threatening illnesses. The cereal we collect will help them provide essential nutrition to over 2,800 critically ill individuals, free of charge, in 2018. A healthy breakfast fuels the brain and helps give people living with cancer, kidney disease, AIDS, and other illnesses the energy they need to start the day.

Two Easy Ways to Participate

  1. Donate Boxes of HEALTHY, whole-grain cereal (e.g. Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Corn Flakes) to your local Y. Please donate regular-size boxes only. (Please avoid sugary cereal, hot cereal and individual or bulk sizes.)
  2. Give "virtual" boxes of cereal online at ProjectAngelHeart.org/cereal, or text "cereal" to 50155. A gift of just $10 provides FIVE boxes of healthy cereal!
