Your Gift Ensures Access to All

Continuing our support FOR ALL into 2017!

The Y is so much more than a gym. We're a cause, dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.  From exercise to education, volleyball to volunteerism, swim lessons to scholarships, the Y is here for all. The Y doesn’t just strengthen our bodies, it strengthens our community.

Our community faces new challenges that create a greater need than ever before. Fortunately, where some see obstacles, we see opportunities for our members, volunteers and staff to make a difference.

Every gift makes a difference.
Everyone has a role to play.
Together, we can achieve so much more.

The above example assumes a taxpayer in the 25% federal tax bracket and a flat rate of 4.63% for Colorado tax. The example does not take into account any changes in federal tax that may result from a reduced deduction for state income taxes. The above example also does not take into account any effects due to Alternative Minimum Tax or time value of money if credits are realized over more than one year. Due to the complexities of these items, we recommend that you consult your tax advisor to determine if these are applicable to your specific tax situation.

Guidelines:

  • The donor must designate in writing, either on the check, pledge card or by letter that the gift is for the CCCC.
  • In-kind gifts do not qualify for the CCCC.
  • Donors may not receive any goods or services in return for their contribution.
  • The credit allowed shall not exceed $100,000 per year.

The YMCA will provide a signed letter that states the amount of the cash gift and the eligible purpose for which the gift was made, along with the DR1317 tax form. You must submit the DR1317 Tax Form to be eligible for the credit.
