Climb for Courage

Step up for kids at the 3rd Annual Climb for Courage stair climb race and family festival at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium, benefiting Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Together, we are raising money to expand Children’s Colorado’s programs and services by building the region’s only comprehensive children’s hospital, bringing world class care close to home for over 225,000 kids in the southern Colorado. The hospital is set to open in 2018 in northeast Colorado Springs.

When: Saturday, June 24, 2017

Where: Falcon Stadium, US Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs

Time: Race starts at 8:30 a.m., Family Festival runs from 9 a.m. to noon

Participants compete in a timed stair climb race, starting in waves at 8:30 a.m., covering 2,700 stairs (2.7 kilometers) around Falcon Stadium. The event also includes a shorter, untimed Fun Wave around the lower portion of Falcon Stadium, perfect for kids and families. The Fun Wave, which starts after the timed race, takes between 15-30 minutes depending on age and skill level.

Family Festival:

From 9 a.m. to noon, a free family-friendly festival provided by corporate and community partners will be held on the grounds surrounding Falcon Stadium and will include games, activities, food and fun.
