I love the circle discussions at the coffee bar and talking to new people. I also play the piano, sing in the Sweet Adaline's, and like to be outgoing. I also enjoy thrift shopping!"

"I've been at the CSSC for a number of years! First as a staff member and then, after retirement, as a participant in other ways such as taking classes and volunteering. When I come, it's often for special events such as the Silent Auction, the annual Art and Craft sale, or various seasonal events. I love to see the creativity of others and especially enjoy the monthly art gallery wall exhibits. I'd like you to know how wonderful you are to provide a beautiful space where seniors can feel enriched, enlivened, and cared about. Such interesting classes, fun events, and a friendly community!"

"I have been coming to the Colorado Springs Senior Center going on about 4 years. I like participating in dance classes, support groups, art classes, and also volunteering as a front desk volunteer. The Senior Center is never dull! There is always something exciting happening. It's just a really neat place. The patrons and instructors are awesome!"

I've made a lot of NEW friends and I'm glad we seniors have a place where we can come and enjoy being with other people. I'm the leader of the Happy Crafters group that meets on Wednesdays!"

They are always there to help when needed without complaint. The facility is clean and neat. When you enter the Senior Center, you always feel welcome."

"I have been coming to the Colorado Springs Senior Center for 15-16 years. Before I moved here, a friend told me about the Senior Center and how it was so dynamic. She was right! I have gone on many trips and attended many classes. Mostly, I play Hand a Food, a card game. I did yoga for several years and played poker. I love the Arts and Crafts Show in the fall. I love the spirit of community we have here. It offers a variety of options for all. We are allowed to run as wild as we chose! The staff is wonderful! They all feel like friends. I think the giving wall is great. I feel safe at the Colorado Springs Senior Center. Several people have said to me, "this has saved my life." I look forward to each day until the time I go to the center. It is always the highlight of the week for me. I have heard others say the same things too.

I love coming to the lunch program, the outings, and excursions. Most seniors like the comradeship and doing things like playing cards and doing crafts. My hope is that more seniors know about the Colorado Springs Senior Center! All you see is friendly smiles, so come on over!"

It really expresses what the center is all about. The Colorado Springs Senior Center is a huge gift to this community.
